In a Moment

"In a moment this ice will melt and you will have to leave"
We display flowers in our windows and watch them die.
My Grandmother has been dying for 96 years.
Her body is decaying around her. Physically frail, so fragile.
She can no longer hold a spoon to her own mouth, but when I take her hand she squeezes it with such strength, that her fingers imprint their marks into mine.
I am interested in the fragile and temporary moments of human connection,
I am interested in the strength and longevity that lies within these moments,
I am interested in processes of change and my struggle to accept these processes.
